Well below the national average - an affordable place to call home

Charleston ranks consistently as one of the most affordable localtions in the country. The low ost of living allows for residence to enjoy so much of that this area has to offer and is one of the principle reasons people relocate to the Charleston area. Taxes are also very reasonable - among the lowest in the South - or anywhere for that matter.
