Charleston has an active sailing community including college sailing, offshore racing associations, youth sailing programs, community sailing programs, special Olympic sailing, tall ship sailing (the Spirit of South Carolina is based in Charleston), and  "sight seeing" sailing aboard such vessels as the Schooner Charleston Pride and the Palmetto Breeze catamaran.  In Charleston, we love the sailing!
