Everyone has an opinion about real estate agents. Mine was not that good until I worked with Chris. He changed my perception on what I think about Realtors. About a year ago I started communicating with Chris about moving to Charleston area. We were interested in other areas in the South but had heard a lot of good things about Charleston so it was a strong candidate on our list. Having never been to the area, moving from the Northeast was a big step for us. I have to admit that I was concerned about some of the things I had heard about Southerners but was surprised at how open and welcoming everyone I met turned out to be. I was especially impressed with our host to the Charleston area, Chris DeLoach, who should receive an award from the Chamber of Commerce. Chris knows Charleston intimately. He understands the ins and outs of the market and is quick to give advice and guidance about everything from traffic patterns to shopping. Once we felt comfortable about the area and began looking at homes, we were shocked that Chris was able to narrow our search down in under 48 hours. We found an amazing home in a great part of town. Chris negotiated for us and helped us get great concessions from the sellers. We are settled in and happy to have selected this area and even more pleased to have the opportunity work with Chris. I did my research on the Internet and came across www.Chris DeLoach.com - Chris's website. I sent Chris an e-mail and he got back to me right away. Over the course of six months we corresponded about various listings. After I got a contract to my house, we decided to take a trip to Summerville. Chris shows surrounding area and put together a search plan for us. I was really surprised at how easy it was to work with a real estate agent who was knowledgeable but never pushy. I never felt like anyone was trying to sell me anything. My impression was that we are working with someone who wanted us to be happy and was willing to take the time to help us find exactly what we wanted. If you are like me and have never liked pushy salespeople, Chris is a fabulous choice. He is trustworthy and honest. And on top of all that, he knows what he is doing when it comes to real estate.
