Spring Hill Suites by Marriott located at 98 Ripley Point Dr. is just across the Ashley River from downtown. From this hotel you overlook the Ripley Light Marina and the Charleston harbor. The Hampton Inn and Suites on the Isle of the Palms Connector. It is a short five-minute drive to the beach and about 10 minutes to downtown. The phone number there is 843 856-3900.

The Hampton on Daniel Island is a very well-managed property and is convenient to all areas of Charleston. It is located just over the 526 Bridge from Mount Pleasant and is adjacent to the quite unique and enjoyable Queen Anne's Revenge Restaurant. The address is 160 Fairchild St. and the phone number is 843 216-6555. Daniel Island is home to the Family Circle Cup Tennis Tournament played each year in April.
If you'd like to be located right were all the great restaurants are in the Mount Pleasant area you may be interested in the Shem Creek Inn where you can sit on the deck and enjoy watching the shrimp boats, the dolphin and the pelicans. If you'd like to be directly downtown Charleston on the Peninsula in the Historic District you might consider Charleston Place Hotel. This is an Orient-Express nationally acclaimed luxury hotel. The phone number there is 843-722-4900.

One of the best restaurants in town, the Peninsula Grill, is located at the Planters Inn which is right on Market Street in downtown Charleston. The number there is 843 722-2345.
Also downtown is a beautiful Embassy Suites Hotel which was originally part of the old Citadel College campus. It's located at 337 Meeting St. and the phone number there is 843 723-6900. It's worth visiting even if you don't stay!
